Job summary

Anglian Water Group Ltd. is seeking a Programme Manager to lead multiple programme executions across the East Anglia region, including Lincoln, Peterborough, Huntingdon, Northampton, Milton Keynes, Norfolk and Colchester.

The role is permanent/full-time with a salary of circa £80,000 dependent on experience and skills. You will oversee strategic project management, financial control, and risk, maintaining stakeholder relationships and reporting progress to governance groups.

Qualifications

• Engineering, Quantity Surveyor, or similar degree qualification.
• Multi‑disciplined construction experience; operations management across building disciplines.
• Proven commercial, contractual, and human resource management skills.
• Track record of improved client relationships, safety performance, and industrial relations management.
• Ability to influence a range of stakeholders, including external groups.
• Broad understanding of the regulatory and operating environment.
• Experience with short-, medium- and long-term planning across wide areas of the business.
• Commitment to continuous improvement of processes and services.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee multiple programme executions, ensuring profitability, efficiency, and compliance with targets.
• Maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders, supply chain, subcontractors, and internal functions.
• Report to governance groups on programme progress, cost, benefit, performance and timescales.
• Identify dependencies, assess opportunities, and generate programme of work.
• Accountable for risk assessment, conflict resolution, and mitigation implementation.
• Deliver business cases and track performance to realise overarching strategy.
