Job summary

Blavatnik School of Government in Oxford is seeking an organised administrative professional to provide coordination support for selected executive programmes, both in-person and online. You will manage logistics, schedules, onboarding, communications, and records, working with colleagues, participants and external partners to ensure smooth delivery.

About the role

The post-holder will provide administrative and coordination support for the preparation and delivery of selected executive programmes, both in-person and online. They will coordinate programme logistics, schedules and meetings, working with colleagues, faculty, participants and external partners to ensure arrangements run smoothly and in line with University and School procedures.

The post-holder will support participant onboarding and communications, maintain programme and expenditure records, process purchase orders and invoices, and coordinate programme materials and online sessions. They will provide a high standard of customer service throughout the programme lifecycle, maintaining accurate and confidential records and referring non-routine issues to the Programme Manager as appropriate.

Working collaboratively with the Executive Programmes team and colleagues across the School, the post-holder will support programme delivery and post-programme evaluation, helping to maintain high service standards and identify practical improvements to established processes.

About you

You will have excellent organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage a varied workload, prioritise effectively and work independently. You will be flexible, self-motivated and able to remain calm under pressure, using initiative appropriately and knowing when to seek advice.

You will have excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with a range of stakeholders and handle sensitive information with discretion. You will also have strong attention to detail, good numeracy skills and excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office, Canvas, Canva and/or similar platforms. You will be educated to A-level or equivalent standard, or have equivalent relevant administrative experience.

Salary (£) : Grade 5: £32,108 - £37,338 per annum, dependent on experience
