About The Role

Grade 7: £39,424 - £47,779 per annum including the Oxford University weighting of £1,730 per annum

Fixed term (one year), full time (37.5 hours per week)

We are looking for a Senior Programme Consultant to join our Executive Education Sales and Customer Relations Team at Saïd Business School. This is an exciting opportunity to drive recruitment for our growing portfolio of online executive education programmes, helping executives from around the world identify the online learning experiences that will enable them to develop their leadership capabilities and accelerate their careers.

As Senior Programme Consultant, you will be the first point of contact for executives interested in our portfolio of Saïd Business School Online Executive Education Programmes. Through consultative conversations, you will explore their professional development objectives, understand their needs and recommend the Oxford programme and learning format best suited to them.

This is a commercially focused, relationship-led position with significant responsibility. You will manage prospective participants throughout the sales journey, from initial enquiry and consultation through to application and enrolment, with responsibility for converting opportunities representing more than £1.7 million in annual programme revenue.

Key responsibilities:
  • Acting as the first point of contact for Online Executive Education programme enquiries, identifying prospects’ needs, interests and suitability.
  • Proactively following up and prioritising leads, building relationships with prospective participants and progressing opportunities through the sales cycle.
  • Providing consultations over teams call or regular phone call or similar platforms to applicants and assessing their suitability for programmes, recommending best fit, and effectively converting them to enrolled participants.
  • Managing prospects and sales activity accurately through Salesforce, including lead scoring, prioritisation and tracking communications.
  • Monitoring application and recruitment performance, identifying trends and producing reports for senior colleagues.
  • Building and nurturing strong relationships with Online Executive Education alumni, corporate partners, and external stakeholders to encourage referrals and strengthen Oxford’s external reputation.

The successful candidate will have proven experience in business development and customer-facing sales. You will be comfortable building and maintaining relationships with senior executives, HR/L&D professionals and external stakeholders, with a track record of managing prospects through the full sales cycle and achieving commercial targets. Excellent communication, interpersonal and proposal-writing skills are essential, together with strong commercial awareness, analytical, project management and organisational abilities. You will be a collaborative and flexible team player, comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office, with excellent attention to detail, initiative and the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment. Cross-cultural awareness, enthusiasm for building relationships and a willingness to travel internationally are also essential. Experience in an EdTech representing Executive Education partners would be desirable
