Job summary

SF Partners are working with a business based in Wolverhampton who are looking to recruit for a Fleet Rentals Manager. Office based. The role runs the rental of the fleet, drives profitability per vehicle, and ensures the team operates efficiently under the Rental Regional Manager.

Key duties include owning the P&L, setting fleet size and pricing, controlling costs and arrears, approving write-offs and settlements, and delivering monthly packs to the Group CEO with actions taken.

Qualifications

• Finance-led: can read P&L, balance sheet and cash flow.
• Proven track record improving profitability of a business unit.
• Commercial judgement on pricing, costs and investments.

Responsibilities

• Own the P&L and deliver the agreed profit target.
• Know full cost and margin of every vehicle and act on underperformers.
• Build annual budget and forecast; manage costs against it.
• Challenge costs that do not add margin.
• Lead the team through the Rental Regional Manager; drive utilisation and cost efficiency.
