Job summary

Cool Motion UK is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to run the day-to-day vehicle rental and fleet operations from our Leicester head office. You will lead a hands-on team handling fleet management, rental administration, compliance and accounts coordination.

Vehicle rental experience is essential. You will organise priorities, support the team and drive timely delivery while managing pressures and deadlines. UK-based role with on-site work.

Qualifications

• Proven management experience within vehicle rental, contract hire or vehicle leasing.
• Experience leading a team, setting priorities and holding people accountable.
• Commercial awareness, including cost control, invoicing accuracy and accounts coordination.
• Strong organisation, attention to detail and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operation: planning, work allocation and follow-through.
• Manage fleet availability, maintenance, prep, deliveries and replacements.
• Oversee enquiries, quotations, bookings, extensions and rent paperwork.
• Maintain compliance, records, safety checks and incident reporting.
• Coordinate with accounts for invoicing and cost control.
