Caytons, our esteemed in-house law firm, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Professional Indemnity solicitor to join our team.
This role is pivotal in handling PI matters within the construction sector, working closely under the supervision of a Partner.
Handle a diverse caseload of PI matters, including both pre-action and litigation phases, ensuring attention to detail and adherence to legal standards
Directly interact with Insurers, Insureds, Experts, and Counsel, encouraging positive relationships and clear communication
Manage reserves and financial aspects of each case, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to Insurers and Insureds
Prepare comprehensive reports for Insurers and Insureds, providing insights and updates on case progress and outcomes
Participate in secondments as agreed upon by the firm, contributing to broader organisational goals and gaining diverse experience
A qualified solicitor with experience in handling professional indemnity matters as a panel solicitor
Demonstrated ability to engage professionally with clients, maintaining a high level of self-sufficiency and initiative
A dedicated team player with a strong work ethic, committed to contributing to a collaborative and dynamic work environment
