Role Overview

You will join an ABS connected to an established insurer that deals with a wide variety of claims primarily arising from professional negligence connected to the financial services sector. You will provide advice on liability and coverage.

In particular, this will focus on claims against independent financial advisors. You will be expected to manage your own independent caseload.

Candidate Profile

The firm seeks an insurance litigation solicitor with:

• Experience in a recognised professional indemnity department.
• Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 4 years post-qualification or equivalent experience.
• Experience defending claims against independent financial advisors, capable of handling a caseload predominantly consisting of these claims.
• Client-facing skills and a commercial approach.
