Job summary

Protyre, a growing automotive service centre network, is seeking an Assistant Centre Manager in Banbury. You will support the Centre Manager with day-to-day operations, drive performance against targets and maintain high standards of vehicle safety and customer service.

This full-time, permanent role offers a competitive salary up to £34,000 per year, bonus potential, on-site parking and access to IMI training and career development. A valid MOT licence and a full UK driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in Automotive Assistant Manager role.
• City & Guilds or NVQ, or other relevant technical qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Support the Centre Manager with day-to-day running of the centre and meet targets.
• Deliver excellent customer service, promptly and professionally.
• Allocate work to technicians to maximise productivity and standards.
• Maintain operational standards including cleanliness, stock and cost control.
• Assist with MOT testing, servicing and vehicle maintenance when required.

Shift and schedule: Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm, 1 in 2 Saturdays 8:30am - 4pm (with day off in week)

Job Responsibilities for the Protyre Assistant Centre Manager role

• Support the Centre Manager with day-to-day running of the centre, ensuring targets and business objectives are met
• Deliver excellent customer service, ensuring customers are dealt with promptly and professionally
• Allocate work effectively to technicians to maximise productivity and maintain high standards
• Maintain strong operational standards, including cleanliness, stock control, cost control and compliance
• Assist with MOT testing, servicing and vehicle maintenance duties when required
