Job summary

Pertemps Bond in Dudley is seeking an experienced Production Welder to join a busy manufacturing site. The role focuses on MIG welding, reading drawings and fabricating components to tight standards.

You will work Monday to Thursday 8:00am–4:30pm with Friday early finish, and the position offers a temporary to permanent opportunity with a pay rate of £14.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• MIG welding / production welding experience required.
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
• Good understanding of fabrication and steelwork.
• Comfortable in a busy manufacturing environment.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Production Welder to join a busy manufacturing business based in Dudley.

The company manufactures a range of steel products and materials-handling equipment, working across different industrial sectors. This is a hands‑on production role working within a busy workshop environment.

The Role

• MIG welding steel components and fabricated products
• Working from drawings and specifications
• Using jigs, fixtures and workshop equipment
• Checking welds and finished products to ensure they meet the required standard
• Working as part of a production team to meet deadlines
• Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment

About You

• Previous experience in MIG welding / production welding
• Able to work from engineering drawings
• Good understanding of fabrication and steelwork
• Comfortable working in a busy manufacturing environment
• Good attention to detail
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Relevant welding/fabrication experience is preferred
