Job summary

Pertemps Dudley Industrial in Dudley is seeking an experienced Production Welder to join a busy manufacturing business. You will MIG-weld steel components and fabricated items, read drawings, and use jigs, fixtures and workshop equipment in a hands-on workshop environment.

Qualifications

Job description

This Production Welder role in Lye offers £14.50 per hour on a full-time basis, initially temporary with permanent potential. Hours run Monday to Thursday, 8:00am until 4:30pm, with an early finish each Friday. Duties include MIG welding steel components and fabricated items, interpreting drawings and specifications, and using jigs, fixtures and workshop equipment. The successful candidate will inspect completed welds against required standards, collaborate within a production team to hit deadlines, and keep the work area safe and orderly. Prior experience in a manufacturing or fabrication setting is essential for this hands-on position.
