Production Weekend Team Leader (Nights) Stoke-on-Trent -Discover a Role That Puts You at the Heart of Manufacturing Excellence

Are you ready to lead a dynamic team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? This role offers you the chance to make a significant impact on production processes, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. As the Production Team Leader, you will be the pivotal point of contact during weekend shifts, driving performance and continuous improvement.

Hours:Friday and Saturday Night (10pm-10am) plus one 8 hour shift in the week, which is negotiable between AM, PM and Nights

Salary: £36,000 per annum + 30% shift allowance + benefits as below

• Leadership and Responsibility: Take charge of a multi-stage production line, overseeing materials handling, foaming, cooling, cutting, packing, labelling, and FLT handling. Your leadership will ensure the seamless operation of the plant during weekends, making you the go-to person for all site activities.

• Safety and Compliance: Ensure the safety of your team and the site, adhering to QHSE and corporate policies. Lead safety investigations, risk assessments, and improvement teams to uphold the highest safety standards.
• Team Development: Stimulate and develop talent within your team. Conduct annual appraisals, manage performance, and ensure your team is equipped to meet business objectives.
  
  

Skills And Experience Required

• Degree or equivalent experience in Manufacturing or Engineering.
• Proven experience in leading a team within a 24-hour continuous production facility as Production Team Leader or similar
• Familiarity with COMAH site operations and chemical/insulation industry processes is preferred.
• Proficiency in IT systems, including Microsoft and SAP.
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to work under pressure and apply logical thinking.
