Job summary

Contract Personnel Ltd in Brandon is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee all aspects of production in a busy manufacturing environment. You will supervise team leaders and production staff, ensure GMP standards are followed, and work hands-on to meet customer specifications.

This temporary-to-permanent role offers a competitive hourly rate of £16.39 and flexible hours from 6:30 am to 4:00 pm, with overtime after 39 hours.

Qualifications

Experience in a production supervisory role within manufacturing.
Good understanding of GMP, production processes and quality standards.
Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

Adhere to GMP standards and procedures.
Oversee setup and preparation of production lines.
Maintain knowledge of production equipment.
Ensure processes meet customer specifications and quality standards.
Oversee production documentation and ERP paperwork for compliance.
Monitor KPIs to meet efficiency targets.
Reduce waste through monitoring and communication.
Ensure targets are met and a safe, clean working environment.
Supervise Team Leaders and production staff; manage timesheets and holidays.
Conduct return-to-work interviews and performance appraisals; lead toolbox talks and team meetings.
Identify training needs and liaise with agencies to meet staffing requirements.
