Job summary

10 Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for a Production Supervisor in Normanton, West Yorkshire, on a permanent basis. You will lead the day‑to‑day activities of a busy production team, organising schedules, directing labour, and ensuring quality targets are met.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 2:30pm–10:30pm, with a £15.31 per hour base pay plus £1.00 per hour shift allowance.

Qualifications

• Must be well organised and able to communicate clearly with people at all levels.
• Good understanding of health & safety practices is essential.
• IOSH Working Safely or equivalent health & safety awareness is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Organising daily production schedules, labour and workloads.
• Supervising production to achieve targets, deadlines and KPIs.
• Monitoring quality and taking action on non-conformance.
• Identifying opportunities to reduce waste and downtime.
• Training, mentoring and supporting team members.
• Managing performance, holidays, attendance and absence.
• Conducting return-to-work interviews.
• Maintaining production records and reporting progress.
• Working with Procurement and HR to support operations.
• Helping maintain a safe, organised working environment.
• Supporting the creation of Standard Operating Procedures.

We’re looking for an organised, confident Production Supervisor to lead the day-to-day activities of a busy production team.

This is a hands‑on supervisory role where you’ll keep production on track, manage priorities and people, maintain quality standards and help reduce waste and downtime.
