Salary: £38,000 - £42,000 per annum DOE
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, predominantly day shifts (8am – 6pm) with flexibility required to cover night shifts (4pm – 2am) as business needs dictate
Duration: Permanent
Start Date: Immediate

We are seeking an experienced and driven Production Supervisor to join a successful and growing manufacturing company based in Yeovil. This is a permanent position offering long-term stability, excellent progression opportunities, and the chance to be part of a dynamic team within a well-established business.

The Job:

• Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of production operatives to meet daily targets and output requirements.
• Ensure production processes run smoothly and efficiently, maintaining a high level of quality and safety at all times.
• Monitor workflow and identify areas for improvement in productivity, performance, and waste reduction.
• Conduct regular team briefings, training, and performance reviews.
• Maintain accurate records, including shift reports, KPIs, and incident logs.
• Enforce company policies and health and safety procedures across the production floor.
• Collaborate with other departments (quality, maintenance, logistics) to resolve issues and ensure deadlines are met.
• Provide cover for night shifts as required and offer flexibility during peak periods or staff shortages.

The Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, coach, and motivate a team.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety, lean manufacturing, or continuous improvement principles is highly desirable.
• Flexible and willing to work across different shifts when required.
