We have an exciting position for a dynamic and positive Production Supervisor for our client based in Wednesbury, this is a key role in coordinating work flows, managing teams performances and driving continuous improvement

£32k to £35k depending on experience

Working in the Manufacturing and Production industry

• Days Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4pm and Friday 7.30am to 1pm

Key Responsibilities of the Production Supervisor

• Lead and supervise production teams to meet daily and weekly production goals
• Ensure that all shift schedules, task assignments and team workloads are balanced to meet production requirements
• Visual Planning, maintain production records and SQCDP reporting
• Oversee the production process
• Enforce adherence to quality and heath and safety standards
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and continuous improvement - cost saving and waste reduction

Qualifications and Experience required for the Production Supervisor

• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Solid understanding of production processes, quality control and safety regulations
• Proficient with production management software and ERP systems (eg SAP or Oracle)
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies (eg Six Sigma)5S' or other process improvement methodologies
• Certification in manufacturing or production management (six sigma green belt, APICS CPIM)

• £32 to £35k basic dependent on salary
• based in Wednesbury
