Day-to-Day Duties

The responsibilities of the Production Supervisor include:

• Supervising the Production team to ensure responsibilities are completed timely and meet performance targets related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People.
• Developing the Production team to enhance capabilities and flexibility.
• Managing attendance and implementing Absence Management procedures as needed.
• Ensuring adherence to quality standards and procedures, confirming production output meets specifications.
• Following Standard Operating Instructions, especially regarding Health & Safety and Quality.
• Executing production plans, schedules, and work sequences.
• Addressing production issues promptly with corrective and preventative actions.
• Supporting the introduction of new products and processes.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

• Significant experience in Production and Operations management within a complex manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably IFS.
• Knowledge of Production and Operations management methodologies.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
