Business Manager - Manufacturing & Engineering

We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join a high-performing company in Leeds, specializing in manufacturing products for regulated markets. You will oversee a team of 20-30 staff and plan the production schedule to ensure smooth operations.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Leading and supervising a team of 20-30 in a regulated environment.
• Overseeing a number of furnaces, ensuring efficient operation and high-quality outputs.
• Planning and scheduling production activities proactively.
• Monitoring equipment constraints, analyzing data, and resolving issues proactively.
• Ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory procedures.
• Communicating effectively across departments to maintain workflow.

What We’re Looking For:

• Technical background — preferably from regulated industries such as automotive, aerospace, medical, or heavy engineering.
• Proven experience in production supervision or similar roles.
• Strong communication skills — capable of managing up and keeping all stakeholders informed.
• A methodical, proactive approach to planning and problem-solving.
• Comfortable with data analysis and making decisions based on real-time information.
