Job summary

The Best Connection is seeking a Production Supervisor for a food production site in the UK. You will take control of the production area, manage the team day to day, and ensure start-up checks are completed before each shift.

You’ll maintain accurate production records, monitor stock levels, train staff, control waste, and enforce HACCP procedures. This role suits an experienced supervisor who works well under pressure and can drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

The Best Connection is currently seeking an experienced and proactive

Production Supervisor to join a well-established

food production company based in

Hours: Sunday to Thursday, 8am to 6pm

Key Responsibilities of the Production Supervisor:

• Taking control of the production area and managing the team day to day.
• Carrying out start-up checks to ensure everything is ready before the shift begins.
• Ensures all production records are completed accurately and on time.
• Monitoring raw material stock levels and communicating requirements to management.
• Training team members on tasks and ensuring competency sign offs are in place.
• Managing waste removal.
• Reporting any non-conformance's, out of specification products or fabrication issues immediately - and following them through to resolutions.
• Keeping HACCP controls under constant review and acting fast if anything is out of control.

Requirements of the Production Supervisor:

• Proven experience in a food production supervisory role is ideal
