Job summary

Hunter Selection is recruiting a Production Supervisor for a Bedford site in the food/FMCG sector. The role leads a small production team, ensuring KPI targets are met and operations run smoothly on a Monday–Friday shift with early start times.

You will oversee line readiness, drive productivity and quality, support machine set-up and fault finding, and maintain Health & Safety, Food Safety and BRCGS standards. Previous food manufacturing leadership and a hands-on approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous team leadership experience within food or drink manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety, Food Safety and quality standards.
• Hands-on approach with a strong shop floor presence.
• Experience working in fast-paced production environments.
• Confident driving performance, quality and team engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a small team production operatives to achieve daily targets
• Ensure production lines are fully prepared with materials, equipment and staffing requirements
• Drive productivity, quality and efficiency across the production operation
• Support machine set-up, changeovers and first-line fault finding to minimise downtime

Working hours

07:45am - 17:00pm | Monday to Friday

Overtime available at an enhanced rate

Our client works in the food / FMCG sector, and are looking for a Production Supervisor to lead a team and ensure KPI's are met consistently. This role requires strong man-management skills, the ability to spot areas of improvement, and previous experience in a food / beverage environment.
