Job summary

Hunter Selection are recruiting on behalf of a family-run manufacturer for a Production Supervisor role near Pontypridd. You will lead and develop a production shift, ensuring the team hits daily schedules and maintains product quality.

The role requires strong leadership, good communication, and knowledge of health and safety standards. The position offers £32-34k plus bonus and exceptional training and development opportunities within a secure company.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead and support production staff during the shift.

• Ensure procedures, PPE, health & safety and hygiene standards are followed.
• Manage labour to ensure efficient production.

My client are seeking a dedicated Production Shift Manager to join their fast-paced and innovative production team. A family ran business, this company is in a very secure position with recently opened new site bolstering the businesses outlook. As a Production Shift Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of manufacturing processes while leading and developing a team of skilled operators.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Leading and supporting production staff throughout the shift.
• Coordinating daily production activities and ensuring schedules are achieved.
• Liaising with Planning and Management to meet production requirements.
• Monitoring product quality and responding promptly to production or quality issues.
• Training, developing and supporting production team members.
• Ensuring company procedures, PPE, health & safety and hygiene standards are followed.
• Managing labour effectively to ensure production runs efficiently.
• Supporting continuous improvement and ensuring 5S principles are maintained.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
