Job summary

Hayes-based Production Supervisor position with a salary of £33,000. 8-hour shifts on a 5 on / 2 off pattern. The role involves hands-on leadership in a multi-site industrial environment, overseeing a small team on the shop floor.

The successful candidate will lead, motivate and develop the team, ensure KPI targets are met, and maintain strict quality and safety standards in an ISO 9001 environment.

Qualifications

• Must have previously been a production team leader or supervisor.
• Experience in manufacturing/production environment.
• Ability to lead by example with a strong character.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Knowledge of process and quality control in an ISO 9001 environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of up to 10 assembly operatives.
• Hands-on with the team, operating machinery when needed.
• Lead, develop and motivate everyone.
• Allocate workload, attend meetings, monitor and report on KPIs and targets.
• Ensure compliance with quality, health and safety procedures.

Would you like to work for a growing local business, that has the job security of being part of a multi-site industrial manufacturer. Due to gaining more customers and future growth plans, they are looking for a driven and enthusiastic production supervisor.

Role & responsibilities

• Leading a team of X10 assembly operatives
• Hands-on with the team, jumping on the machinery to make products when needed
• Lead, develop and motivate everyone
• Workload allocation, attend meetings, monitoring and reporting on KPi's & daily targets
• Ensure full compliance with quality, health & safety procedures

Requirements

• Must be happy being hands-on with the team, operating machinery when needed
• Previously have been a production team leader / supervisor
• Must have worked in a manufacturing / production environment
• Able to lead by example, strong character, setting targets / goals
• Strong problem solving skills
• Knowledge of process & quality control in an ISO 9001 environment
• Highly organised and adaptable
