Job summary

Meridian Business Support Ltd is recruiting a Production Shift Leader to oversee a busy manufacturing operation in Hampstead. You will lead 80 staff across 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm shifts, with weekend overtime paid at enhanced rates and a 12.5% shift uplift.

The role emphasises people management, workflow optimisation, KPI achievement, and safe, efficient production. A strong focus on engagement and continuous improvement is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing large shift-based manufacturing teams.
• Strong focus on people, workflow, performance, output, quality and safety.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to analyse processes, identify issues and implement solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 80 staff across a busy production environment.
• Ensure production schedules and KPIs are met.
• Analyse production processes and resolve challenges under pressure.
• Develop operational plans and allocate resources efficiently.
• Engage employees through daily meetings and performance reviews.
• Monitor overtime to control cost and optimise productivity.
