Meridian Business Support Ltd is seeking a Production Shift Leader to oversee 80 staff across a swing shift, ensuring on-time delivery and optimal use of resources. The role demands hands-on management, proactive problem-solving, and a focus on safety and quality in a busy manufacturing setting.

You will drive performance, lead by example, and foster a collaborative culture while meeting production schedules and KPIs. Weekend overtime is expected with a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing/Production management experience, overseeing large teams in shift-based environments.
• Essential experience in managing people, workflow, performance, output, quality and health & safety.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Active listening and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Good organizational skills ensuring smooth workflows and efficient progress.
• Analytical skills to identify production issues and implement solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 80 staff in a busy production environment, focusing on people, workflow, performance, output, quality and safety.
• Build a strong team culture based on communication, collaboration and engagement.
• Provide guidance to team members to develop skills and reach potential.
• Meet production schedules, KPIs and contribute to department success.
• Analyze production processes, identify challenges and make decisions under pressure.
• Develop and implement operational plans, manage resources and oversee daily activities.
• Engage employees through daily meetings and provide performance evaluations.
• Track production metrics, ensure KPIs are met and continuously improve practices.
• Monitor overtime weekly to control costs and ensure fair allocation.
