Job summary

Meridian Business Support is recruiting a Manufacturing Shift Supervisor to lead a large 80‑strong production team on a rotating 6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm shift. You will drive safety, quality and productivity, meeting daily production targets and KPIs.

You will analyse processes, implement improvements, and manage overtime on weekends, with a base salary up to £35,000 plus a shift uplift and progression opportunities. A hands‑on, proactive leadership style is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a large manufacturing team in a production environment.
• Ability to drive performance, quality and safety standards.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 80 on a swing shift (6-2 / 2-10) and manage daily production activities.
• Ensure production schedules are met and KPIs achieved.
• Analyse processes and resolve issues to maintain smooth workflows.
• Develop operational plans and optimise resource use; oversee overtime allocation.
