Manufacturing / Production Shift Leader

Scantec Recruitment is partnering with a leading FMCG Food Manufacturer in North Lanarkshire to find a Production Shift Leader for their Night shift team.

This opportunity allows you to gain experience with one of the UK’s largest food manufacturing companies, offering a great culture, growth opportunities, and long-term career development.

We are seeking a candidate with experience in a Production or Manufacturing role. Experience in a Food/FMCG manufacturing environment or distribution/logistics would be ideal.

Shifts:

• Nights
• 4 on, 4 off
• 18:00 - 06:00

Role and Responsibilities:

1. Manage and develop a team with commitment and drive to succeed.
2. Deliver KPIs and build strong relationships within your team and across functions.
3. Manage daily budgets, including labour and materials, and report on them daily.
4. Ensure conformance to daily plans, audits, and GMP compliance.
5. Prioritize safety by ensuring procedures are followed, including logging accidents and near misses.
6. Directly manage team headcount, upskill, and develop team members.
7. Oversee absence management, conduct investigations, and handle disciplinary actions when necessary.
8. Be the first point of contact for your team, promote company values, and foster a culture of trust.
