Position: Shift Leader

The Shift Leader ensures that all front-line operations are completed on schedule and in compliance with EHS and Quality standards. The role involves identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, coaching team members, and ensuring understanding of manufacturing processes and standards.

Your Responsibilities:

1. Lead and ensure correct execution of maintenance activities, including daily checks and training support.
2. Ensure adherence to PTW/SSOW processes and monitor EHS and Quality standards through active oversight.
3. Provide baseline EHS and Quality training and contribute to document reviews.
4. Manage maintenance work orders and participate in emergency response planning.
5. Coordinate manufacturing activities to meet schedules, liaising with maintenance and planning teams.
6. Lead problem-solving and troubleshooting efforts, escalating issues as needed.
7. Conduct Gemba walks to observe shop floor activities and identify improvements.
8. Maintain effective shift communication and operator logs.
9. Escort visitors as required and escalate issues to leadership.
10. Manage, coach, and develop the operations team, including performance management, training, and staffing.

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 5 GCSEs or equivalent qualifications.
• Experience and knowledge of production environments.
• Strong time management and coordination skills.
• Demonstrated desired behaviors in previous roles.
