Based at our Pipe Road, chemical manufacturing facility in Laverton North, we are looking for a Production Operator to join our Production Formulation team. In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of the production process, including material handling, equipment operation, process monitoring, quality control, warehousing, and various support activities.

This role will work across a rotating morning/afternoon roster with regular RDOs (9 day fortnight).

How You’ll Help Us Grow

• Operating various chemical plants efficiently, adhering to schedule and cycle times
• Following standard operating procedures as instructed
• Completing batch sheets accurately and to standard
• Maintaining good workplace organisation and housekeeping
• Following safety regulations and always wearing PPE
• Reporting safety incidents or hazards immediately
• Performing QA functions to ensure batches meet quality specifications
• Washing vessels and equipment to prevent cross-contamination
• Proposing modifications and improvements for productivity, safety, and quality

Could This Be You?

You have experience operating in a chemical manufacturing environment and are safety-conscious, able to identify hazards and risks. You enjoy working independently and in team settings and are interested in further training and development opportunities.

You possess excellent communication skills and are willing to work flexible hours. Nufarm offers learning opportunities and regular skill assessments as you progress.
