Job summary

Marshalls is seeking a Production Operative at Pollington to join the manufacturing team, working 40 hours per week Mon–Fri from 6am to 2pm. You’ll operate and monitor production lines for concrete drainage solutions, while supporting setup, fault troubleshooting, and data recording to sustain high quality and efficiency.

You’ll contribute to safety, process improvements and daily production metrics, helping the team deliver reliable results in a busy, safety-focused environment at Marshalls.

Qualifications

• Proven and consistent ability to operate and monitor production machinery safely and efficiently.
• Experience setting up machines, adjusting parameters, and ensuring optimal performance.
• Identify faults, troubleshoot issues, and elevate where necessary.
• Basic mechanical knowledge with routine checks and minor maintenance.
• Read and follow technical instructions, SOPs and production specs.
• Strong focus on quality control and recording production data.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production machinery to keep lines running smoothly.
• Set up machines, adjust parameters and optimize outputs.
• Identify faults, troubleshoot and escalate when needed.
• Record downtime, output and performance data accurately.
• Maintain SHEQ standards and participate in safety drills.
