Job summary

Marshalls plc is seeking a Production Operative for its Pollington site near Goole. The role is a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, with a start time of 6am and end at 2pm. A salary of £30,701 is offered, reflecting its manufacturing operations in the UK.

You will operate and monitor production machinery, perform setup and changeovers, record data and support continuous improvement. Join a team focused on quality, safety and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven and consistent ability to operate and monitor production machinery safely and efficiently.
• Experience setting up machines, adjusting parameters, and ensuring optimal performance.
• Ability to identify faults, troubleshoot issues, and escalating where necessary.
• Basic mechanical knowledge with the ability to carry out routine checks and minor maintenance.
• Understanding of production processes, machine cycles, and output optimisation.
• Experience completing start-up, shutdown, and changeover procedures.
• Ability to read and follow technical instructions, SOPs, and production specifications.
• Strong focus on quality control, ensuring products meet required standards.
• Accurate recording of production data, downtime, and performance metrics.
• Strong awareness and commitment to SHEQ standards.
