Job summary

Marshalls plc in Pollington is seeking a Production Operative to join our Manufacturing team supporting the production of concrete drainage solutions. This role involves operating and setting up production machinery, following SOPs, and maintaining high safety and quality standards.

You will work a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, 6am to 2pm, with a salary of £30,701 and access to Marshalls' benefits and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven and consistent ability to operate and monitor production machinery safely and efficiently.
• Experience setting up machines, adjusting parameters, and ensuring optimal performance.
• Ability to identify faults, troubleshoot issues, and elevate where necessary.
• Basic mechanical knowledge with the ability to carry out routine checks and minor maintenance.
• Understanding of production processes, machine cycles, and output optimisation.
• Experience completing start-up, shutdown, and changeover procedures.
• Ability to read and follow technical instructions, SOPs, and production specifications.
• Strong focus on quality control, ensuring products meet required standards.
• Accurate recording of production data, downtime, and performance metrics.
• Strong awareness and commitment to SHEQ standards.
• FLT licence desirable

Responsibilities
