Job summary

Promatchconsultancy in Dingwall is recruiting for a night-shift role in our client's premium salmon processing team. You will work on a busy production line, gutting, filleting, washing, grading and boxing fish, with start times around 6pm and a guaranteed minimum 35 hours per week.

This role offers strong pay progression, overtime, and a clear path to permanency; agency contract with potential to move to a permanent position subject to performance and attendance.

• Great pay: Start at £14.02ph, rising to £14.52after 3 months
• Extra earnings: Overtime paid after 40 hours per week at £21.03 ph, rising to £21.78 per hour after 3 months
• Reliable hours with flexibility: Guaranteed minimum of 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday with a usual start time of 6pm. Flexibility is required to meet production demands.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be part of a busy night shift team working with fresh salmon and trout. It is essential that you have flexible skills to work across the various stages of the production line which includes.

• Feeding the production line
• Using a knife to complete gutting and filleting of the fish
• Washing and grading fish
• Tagging, boxing and chill work (icing, lidding, palletising)

It’s physical, fast paced and essential to keeping the supply chain flowing!
