Be Personnel Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a highly successful independent salmon farming and processing business for Chilled Processing Operatives in Scotland.

Qualifications

• Experience in a food processing or manual work environment
• Good time keeping and reliability
• Able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting
• Physically capable of manual handling
• Flexible hours; shifts Mon–Fri, 5 pm–7 pm start, with varying finishes

Responsibilities

• Work in a chilled environment with regular heavy lifting
• Handle large volumes of salmon and perform manual handling tasks
• Meet shift requirements and quality standards

Job description

Our Client, a hugely successful independent salmon farming and processing business, has opportunities available for Chilled Processing Operatives to join their team.

Benefits

• Competitive wages of £14.02 per hour increasing to £14.52 per hour after 12 weeks based on performance and skills demonstrated
• Overtime paid at 1.5x standard rate after 40 hours per week
• Full time hours - guaranteed minimum of 35 per week but likelihood of working 40
• Subsidized transport being available from Alness, Inverness and Invergordon

As a Chilled Processing Operative you will working in a chilled environment, with plenty of lifting and carrying large volumes of salmon so any successful candidate will be comfortable with large amounts of manual handling throughout the day.
