Job description

We are recruiting for several Production Operatives to work in a busy Meat Production environment.

This is Full-Time Long term work with Permanent contract available.

£12 per hour (up to 40.83hrs)

£18 per hour (overtime)

£24 per hour – Sundays above 40.83 hrs

Location: Rochdale, OL16 4NZ

Previous experience in Food Production is a bonus.

Working Days: Monday to Friday - FULL TIME

Shifts: 05:45 – 14:40 or 14:15 – 23:10

Weekend overtime available (Saturday and Sunday)

Temporary to permanent after 12 weeks

Kingdom People are recruiting for several Production Operatives to work at one of our client’s sites in Rochdale (OL16 4NZ) that operates within a chilled environment – slicing/preparing bacon and gammon products.

The role:

Production Operatives will be expected to perform the following tasks (list is not exhaustive):

• Packing products into boxes
• Slicing and general production duties
• Moving stock using PPT/pump truck
• Checking labels are correct
• Following site rules and procedures
• Filling in paperwork if required
• Reporting issues to team leader
• Manual handling will be required

Requirements:

• Be able to work 8-10 hr shifts
• Previous experience in Meat Production
• Very high attention to detail is required
• Ability to commute to Rochdale, OL16 4NZ
• Communication in English (written and spoken)
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
