Job summary

Staffline seeks a Production Operative in Peterborough to support a busy food manufacturing site producing high-quality products for major retailers. You will work on a fast-paced production line, conditionally rotating tasks, while adhering to strict food safety and GMP protocols.

The role offers full-time hours, with two daily shifts and on-site parking. Candidates must be able to stand for long periods, carry out repetitive packing, and operate safely with PPE.

Responsibilities

• Working on a busy food production line, preparing and packing according to quality standards.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, health & safety and GMP protocols at all times.
• Rotate between production tasks and workstations as required to support operations.
• Maintain accurate stock handling and production records as required.
• Assist Cell Leaders and Shift Leaders to meet daily targets and KPIs.
• Identify opportunities to reduce waste and improve efficiency.

Production Operative for our client's leading food manufacturing site, which specialises in producing high-quality cooked and prepared food products for major retailers, food-service providers, and customers across the UK.

The rate of pay is

£12.78 per hour.

This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday. The hours of work are:

• 6am to 2pm
• 2pm to 10pm

Your Time at Work

• Working on a busy food production line, preparing and packing food products to company quality standards.
• Following food safety, hygiene, health & safety, and good manufacturing practices (GMP) at all times.
• Rotating between different production tasks and workstations as required to support operational needs.
• Carrying out accurate stock handling and maintaining production records where required.
• Supporting Cell Leaders and Shift Leaders to achieve daily production targets and KPIs.
• Identifying opportunities to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assisting other departments and production areas when required to meet business demands.
• Taking part in training and development activities to improve skills and performance.
