Job summary

Adecco Portugal is recruiting for a Production Operative / FLT Counterbalance Driver to join the Packing Department in a permanent role near HU12. Salary £14.05 per hour, Monday to Friday day shifts.

You will operate a Counterbalance forklift, assist packing, loading/unloading, and keep work areas safe and organized. Training provided; a reliable, safety-conscious candidate with forklift experience is welcome.

Qualifications

• FLT Counterbalance licence/certificate required.
• Recent Counterbalance FLT experience in manufacturing, warehouse or production.
• Experience in production, manufacturing, packing or warehouse roles beneficial.
• Good understanding of health and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck to move raw materials and finished goods.
• Load and unload pallets from production and storage areas.
• Supply production lines with materials as required.
• Operate packing and production equipment safely and effectively.
• Carry out routine equipment and FLT checks, reporting any defects.
• Monitor product quality throughout the production process.
• Complete product sampling and quality checks where required.
• Pack, palletise, band, and wrap finished products to specification.
• Transfer finished goods to designated warehouse locations.
• Complete production records and paperwork accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
• Adhere to all health and safety procedures and company policies.
• Support the wider manufacturing and warehouse teams as required.

Are you an experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver looking for a long-term opportunity within a successful manufacturing business? We are recruiting for a Production Operative / FLT Counterbalance Driver to join a well-established and growing company within its Packing Department.

The Role

Working as part of a busy production and packing team, you will play a key role in ensuring products are packed, stored, and moved safely and efficiently throughout the site. The role combines production duties with regular FLT Counterbalance operation.

Key Responsibilities

What We're Looking For

• Valid FLT Counterbalance licence/certification.
• Recent and proven Counterbalance FLT experience within a manufacturing, warehouse, or production environment.
