Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is recruiting for a Production Operative / Counterbalance FLT Driver in Coventry (CV4). The role is a Temporary to Permanent opportunity with a pay rate of £17.00 per hour, on a Monday to Friday schedule from 7:30am to 4:30pm, with a 1 hour lunch break. Immediate start available.

The successful candidate will support a small production team, operate a Counterbalance forklift, and help maintain high standards of safety, quality and productivity on site.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence or certificate.
• Experience in production/manufacturing environment.
• Good level of physical fitness and ability to handle manual handling tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support a small production team and ensure workloads are organised.
• Assess daily production requirements and prioritise tasks.
• Promote safe and efficient working practices on the production floor.
• Operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely.
• Move and handle materials throughout the production area.
• Assist with production activities as required to meet quality targets.
• Maintain high standards of quality and productivity.

The Role

You will play a key role in the day-to-day success of the production area, ensuring workloads are organised efficiently and priorities are effectively managed.

• Working with and supporting a small production team
• Assessing daily production requirements and prioritising workloads

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A valid, accredited Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence
• Previous experience in a production, manufacturing
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• The ability to support colleagues
• A proactive and hands-on approach to work
• Good levels of physical fitness, as manual handling of heavy products will be required
