Staffline is recruiting Production Operatives to work rotating shifts at our Worksop site, supporting a busy bakery that makes treats like mince pies and muffins. You will pack, measure, feed batches, and assemble goods on a production line while reporting faults and helping keep the line running smoothly.

This full-time role offers training, on-site parking, free hot drinks, PPE, and opportunities for overtime with the potential for a permanent position.

Qualifications

• Good command of written and spoken English and basic numeracy.
• Willingness to learn and be flexible in tasks.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
• Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential; full training provided.

Responsabilités

• Packing products into boxes/baskets.
• Measuring, grading, and feeding batches of raw materials into production machinery.
• Assembling goods on a production line.
• Reporting equipment faults to maintenance staff.
• Finishing products, e.g. applying protective coatings.
• Monitoring the production process.

Production Operative for our clients who supply a range of customers, including retailers, wholesalers, convenience stores, and foodservice customers with their iconic products, which feature in millions of homes.

Staffline is recruiting Production Operatives to work rotating shifts in

Worksop.

The rates of pay are:

• - Pre 12 wks -
• £14.99 per hour
• - OT pre 12 wks
• - Mon-Sat -
• £18.16 per hour
• £21.34 per hour
• Post 12 wks -
• £15.28 per hour
• - OT post 12 wks
• - Mon-Sat -
• £18.53 per hour
• £21.78 per hour

Overtime is available.

This is a full-time role working rotating shifts, and the hours of work are:

• - 6am to 2pm
• - 2pm to 10pm

Your Time at Work

As a Production Operative at our client's busy bakery specialising in sweet treats, including mince pies, sweet muffins, and cupcake bases, you will be responsible for:

• Packing products into boxes/baskets
• Measuring, grading, and feeding batches of raw materials into production machinery
• Assembling goods on a production line
• Reporting equipment faults to maintenance staff
• Finishing products, for example, applying protective coatings
• Monitoring the production process

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect worker will have the following skills:

• Good understanding of written and spoken English plus numeracy skills.
• A willingness to learn and be flexible in the tasks required of you.
• Working as part of a team - join in and help others around you.
• Be able to follow instructions from other team members and supervision.
• Ensuring that any necessary communication takes place to ensure the smooth running of the operation
• Completing all relevant checks, i.e. CCP, weight checks, process checks, and cleaning paperwork, etc, where required.

Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential, as full training is provided.
