Job summary

Staffline is recruiting Production Operatives in Market Drayton for a temporary to permanent role at one of the UK's largest chilled food production companies. The position offers full-time hours on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, with day shifts 6am–6pm and nights 6pm–6am.

Pay rates are £13.05–£19.58 per hour in days and £15.12–£22.68 per hour at night, with on-site support, canteen, car parking, uniform and PPE provided, plus training and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required; full training provided.
• Good communication in English and ability to follow site processes.
• Self-motivated and able to work well in a busy production environment.

Responsibilities

• Racks/Decanting: store food correctly after decanting.
• Tray Wash: ensure trays are cleaned and stacked per site processes.
• Packer: correctly pack all items on and off the line.
• General Operative: assist across multiple production areas.

• Days £13.05 - £19.58 per hour
• Nights £15.12 - £22.68 per hour

This is a full-time role working 4 on 4 off, fixed shifts and the hours of work are:

• 6am to 6pm
• 6pm to 6am

Your Time at Work

As a Production Operative at this site, there are a variety of sections you will cover, such as:

• Racks/Decanting off racks in this role, you will ensure that all food is stored away correctly
• Tray Wash Operative, you will ensure that all trays are cleaned and stacked following site processes
• Packer, you will correctly pack all items on and off the line
• General Operative, This role will heavily involve assisting all areas of production

Our Perfect Worker

Our ideal Production Operative will be self-motivated and can work well as part of a team in a busy, fast-paced environment.

You’ll have a good understanding of the English language, both written and verbal; in order to effectively communicate with other workers on site.

No previous experience is necessary as a Production Operative/Warehouse Operative as full training is provided.
