Job summary

Staffline, on behalf of a major chilled food producer, is seeking Production Operatives in Ellesmere to join a fast-paced manufacturing team.

You will handle raw meat products in a cold environment, perform packing, quality checks and assist with maintaining hygiene and food safety while working a full-time shift with a rotating rest day.

Full training is provided and onsite transport is available.

This is a full-time role and the hours of work are:

Sunday fixed rest day

One rotating rest day during the week

Free Transport Available

The site is easily accessible via the free company transport service departing from Battlefield Road, Shrewsbury, SY1 4AH.

• Approximate journey time: 30 minutes each way
• Return transport provided after shift
• Arrival back in Shrewsbury approximately 4:15pm to 4:30pm

Travel time is unpaid.

Your Time at Work

As a Production Operative, you will work within a busy chilled food production environment processing beef into a range of products including burgers, meatballs and mince.

• Processing food products
• Packing products ready for distribution
• Quality checking finished products
• Working as part of a production team
• Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards
