We are looking for day staff and afternoon staff for our client in central Derby. Ideally, you will be open to working either shift pattern.

Pay Rate: £12.78 PH

Hours: Monday to Friday 0600-1400

Pay Rate: £13.62

Hours: Monday to Friday 1400-2200 available

Contract: Temp to perm for the right candidate

The role will include:

1. Vacuum forming products to correct sizes and shapes
2. Picking and packing
3. Performing routine cleaning to ensure a safe and clean working environment
4. Operating and monitoring machinery
5. Assembling industrial filters
6. Supporting the production of final products
7. Visual inspection of products
8. Packing and preparing products
9. Responsibility for quality inspection of products

What we are looking for:

• Team player
• Ensure use of appropriate PPE at all times
• Minimum 3 years experience in a manufacturing/production environment
• Minimum 3 years experience using hand tools/production machinery
• Ability to carry out manual handling tasks
• Good communication skills
• Strong English and mathematical skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Adherence to health and safety protocols at all times
• Flexible along the production line (training provided)
• Hardworking with a positive attitude towards learning and development
• Attention to detail when assembling delicate products
