Job summary

Marshalls plc in Sandy, Bedfordshire, is recruiting a Production Operative (Operations Team Member) on a full-time basis. Salary sits at £34,852 + benefits, with shifts Monday to Thursday from 6am to 6pm.

You will join a skilled team that produces high-quality concrete products, with safety at the heart of everyday practice. You will operate presses and mobile plant, move stock with forklifts, and follow a personal development plan to progress within the grading structure.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy Production/Manufacturing environment.
• Forklift licence and experience is essential.
• Strong interpersonal skills with reliable team performance.
• Effective oral and written communication.
• Flexible shift pattern including nights may be required.
• Basic computer literacy.
• IOSH qualification is advantageous but not essential.
• Able to work a flexible shift pattern including nights if required.

Responsibilities

• Operate press machinery and hand-powered tools to manufacture concrete products.
• Move stock around the site using forklift trucks and other mobile plant.
• Maintain health and safety at all times and follow site procedures.
• Collaborate within a shift-based team to meet production targets.
• Follow personal development plans to gain new skills and progress within grading structure.
