Job summary

Marshalls plc in Sandy, Bedfordshire, is hiring a Production Operative (Operations Team Member) to join our manufacturing site. The role involves producing high-quality concrete products, operating press machinery, hand tools and mobile plant, with a focus on health and safety.

Shifts are Monday to Thursday, 6am to 6pm, with opportunities to progress through our grading structure and salary of £34,852 plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy Production/Manufacturing environment.
• Forklift truck license and experience is essential.
• Able to work in a shift-based team with clear communication.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights if required.

Responsibilities

• Operate press machinery and hand-powered tools to manufacture concrete products.
• Move stock around the site using forklift trucks and other mobile plant.
• Adhere to health & safety protocols and quality standards.
• Collaborate effectively within a shift-based team.
