Job summary

People Solutions are looking for Production Operatives to work for our well-known client in Chapeltown, South Yorkshire. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with progression for the right candidate.

The role involves working on the production line, operating equipment, and packing to meet product specs while maintaining safety standards. Pay starts at £12.71 per hour and increases after training, with shifts from 6am to 10pm and Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Operate on the production line and oversee machinery to run the line efficiently.
• Pack products to meet specifications and conduct quality checks.
• Respond to machine/product issues and report to supervisor.
• Complete relevant paperwork while maintaining safety standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized working environment compliant with H&S and Food Safety standards.
• Monitor quality of all products and assist with loading/unloading vans.

Shift Pattern:

• Working 6.00am - 2.00pm/2.00pm - 10.00pm/10.00pm - 6.00am

Day to Day Duties:

Your duties as a Production Operative/Delivery Driver will be:

• Working on production line, overseeing the machines and efficiently running the production line
• Packing to meet product specifications and doing quality checks.
• Responding to problems with machines and product - reporting to the supervisor.
• Completing all relevant paperwork whilst maintaining high safety standards.
• To maintain a safe, clean and well organised working environment within the framework of current H&S and Food Safety standards.
• Monitor the quality of all products
• Loading and Unloading vans

Essential Skills:
