HR GO Recruitment is seeking a Production Operative in Chesterfield to join a busy manufacturing and print production site. You will help keep production running smoothly, operate packaging and printing machinery, and ensure products meet quality standards.

Qualifications

• Prior production, manufacturing, printing or machine operating experience is beneficial.
• Training can be provided.
• Reliable attendance and timekeeping in Chesterfield.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable standing for long periods and handling materials.

Responsibilities

• Operate and assist with production and printing machinery.
• Feed materials into machines and monitor the process.
• Carry out basic machine setup and adjustments.
• Check finished products for quality and defects.
• Pack, label, assemble and prepare products for dispatch.
• Move materials and finished goods around the production area.
• Complete basic production paperwork and record quantities.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised workstation.
• Follow health and safety procedures.
• Work with the production team to meet daily targets.
• Report machine faults or production issues to the supervisor.

Production Operative - IMMEDIATE START - Chesterfield S43 3LS

We are looking for reliable and hardworking Production Operatives for S43 3LS Chesterfield to join a busy manufacturing and print production industry.

You will be working as part of the production team in a manufacturing environment, helping to ensure products are produced, finished and prepared to the required quality standards while keeping production running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities for Production Operative

• Operating and assisting with production and printing machinery
• Feeding materials into machines and monitoring the production process
• Carrying out basic machine setup and adjustments where required
• Checking finished products for quality and identifying any defects
• Packing, labelling. assembling and preparing finished products for dispatch
• Moving materials and finished goods around the production area
• Completing basic production paperwork and recording quantities
• Keeping your workstation clean, organised and safe
• Following all health & safety and company procedures
• Working closely with other members of the production team to achieve daily targets
• Reporting any machine faults, quality issues or production problems to the supervisor

What We're Looking For in a Production operative

Previous production, manufacturing, printing or machine operating experience would be beneficial, although training can be provided.

You should be:

• Reliable commute in Chesterfield with good attendance and timekeeping
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production manufacturing environment
• Able to follow instructions and work to production targets
• Quality focused with good attention to detail
• Happy working both independently and as part of a team in a manufacturing environment
