Job summary

South57 Recruitment is recruiting Food Production Operatives for a busy meat-processing facility in Potton, Bedfordshire. You will work on a food production line handling pork and beef, preparing, processing and packing products while maintaining hygiene and safety standards.

We offer a guaranteed basic 40 hours per week with overtime opportunities and enhanced rates for overtime. Various shifts start early (6:00–7:00), with long hours and weekend earnings potential for reliable, hardworking

NOW RECRUITING – FOOD PRODUCTION OPERATIVES

Location: Potton, Bedfordshire

We are currently recruiting Food Production Operatives for a busy food production company based in Potton, specialising in pork and beef products.

We are looking for hardworking, reliable and committed individuals who are willing to work long hours and take advantage of regular overtime opportunities.

Pay Rates

• Basic rate: £12.71 per hour (first 40 hours per week).
• Monday to Friday overtime: £19.06 per hour (after 40 hours).
• Saturday overtime: £19.06 per hour.
• Sunday overtime: Double time (£25.42 per hour).

Working Hours

• Day shifts starting at 6:00am or 7:00am.
• Monday to Friday as standard.
• Shifts typically lasting 10–12 hours per day.
• Overtime available during the week and at weekends.
• Candidates must be flexible and willing to work extended hours.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Working on a food production line handling pork and beef products.
• Preparing, processing and packing meat products.
• Maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety.
