Job summary

Ryvita is seeking a Production Operative to join our cereals team in Poole on a permanent, full-time basis with a 2-week rotating shift pattern.

You will work on the production line, ensure safety and food safety standards, and support efficient operations, with opportunities for progression and employee benefits.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safe systems of work and protect health and safety of self and others at all times.
• Ensure products meet HACCP, legal and customer requirements and external standards (e.g., BRC, IFS).
• Participate in training and buddy training as needed.
• Follow SOPs at all times and report issues to line leader or supervisor.
• Operate packing and process lines: stacking, size changes, cleaning, decanting, inspection, picking, blending, pallet wrapping.

The role is a fantastic opportunity for someone to join our cereals team at Ryvita, on permanent and full time basis, on a 2 week rotating shift pattern.

Key Accountabilities

• Responsible for adhering to safe systems of work processes and acting in a safe manner to protect the health and safety of yourself and others at all times.
• Ensure our products meet food safety (HACCP), legal and customer requirements as well as maintaining external standards eg BRC, IFS, Femas.
• Participate in training when needed & buddy train if required
• Ensure all SOPs are followed correctly at all times
• Report any conflict or neglect and any production issues to the line leader or supervisor
• Work as an effective team member, with a positive attitude to solving problems
• Conduct production tasks including:
• Stacking
• Assist with machinery size changes and clean downs
• Assist general running of machinery
• Manual packing
• Process line product inspection
• Decant product onto process line
• Picking
• Blending
• Pallet Wrapping
