Job summary

Ryvita in Poole is seeking a Multi-Skilled Operative to run production lines and manufacture products. This permanent, full-time role is 39 hours per week, Mon–Fri, with paid breaks, starting 7 September 2026. A £500 signing bonus is paid after 6 months of service.

Training rotates on 2-week shifts until December, then 3-week cycles from January 2027. Starting pay is £13.10/hour, rising to £14.35/hour with training levels completed.

• Ability to make timely decisions and escalate when needed.
• Knowledge of HSE and food safety risk identification.
• Ability to build effective working relationships.

We are on the lookout for a Multi-Skilled Operative to join the Ryvita team in Poole. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to run production lines and manufacture our brilliant products.

This is a permanent and full-time position based, working on average 39hours per week, Monday – Friday (including paid breaks). This role is available from 7th September 2026. This role includes a signing bonus of £500.00 to be paid after successfully completing 6 months of service.

Up until the end of December will you commence training working a 2-week shift rotation:

Non-working day 06:00 – 18:00 06:00 – 18:00 06:00 – 18:00 06:00 – 18:00

In January 2027 you will move to a 3 week shift rotation, your team and line manager rotate shifts at the same time:

Starting salary for this role is £13.10 per hour, however this increases once you complete different training levels and can earn up to £14.35 per hour.

We will be running an assessment day for this vacancy on the morning of Thursday 27th August 2026. The assessment is likely to take 2-3 hours. Please ensure that you can attend this session before applying.

Key Accountabilities

Our Shift Manager is looking for a team member to...

• To operate machinery to agreed parameters
• To work to Bakery Standard Operating Procedures
• To demonstrate personal accountability within the site and ensure that all Health, Safety & Environmental requirements are met.
• Follow all Quality systems and procedures to ensure our products meet food safety (HACCP), legal and customer requirements as well as maintaining external standards e.g. BRC, IFS, Femas.
• Ensure that all downtime, weight and quality checks, waste and production data is recorded consistently and accurately.
• Immediately respond to incidents of production downtime and liaise with the technicians for technical faults.
