Job summary

Puratos UK is seeking Production Operatives at our Buckingham site to manufacture batches safely and efficiently, following daily plans and SOPs. You will work with Production Team Leaders to ensure food safety and regulatory compliance while maintaining high standards and accurate traceability.

You will support product launches, coordinate material supply, and assist in training new colleagues, contributing to a collaborative, quality-focused environment at Puratos Buckingham.

• Follow the daily production plan to meet output targets.
• Prepare each batch according to SOPs and seek support when needed.
• Ensure all raw materials are present and handled safely.
• Maintain 100% allergen control and prevent cross-contamination.
• Complete quality and traceability checks.
• Coordinate the supply of raw materials and equipment for production.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and Production Team Leaders.
• Support new product launches and trials with the R&D team.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and assist audits.
• Assist in training and induction of new team members.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Management to address issues.

To build our team we are looking for Production Operatives to join our expanding site in Buckingham.

Your Mission

As a Production Operative, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and right-first-time manufacturing of all batches scheduled on the daily plan. You will work closely with the Production Team Leaders to ensure all processes are followed accurately, maintaining a strong focus on food safety and health regulations.

What you will do

• Communicate effectively with your colleagues, including the Production Team Leaders
• Support new product launches and trials with the R&D team.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and support high-profile visits and audits.
• Assist in training and induction of new team members.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Management teams to address non-conformances and improvement areas.
