Job summary

JDR Recruitment are recruiting for Production Operatives to work for a manufacturing company based in Hindley. The role involves heavy lifting up to 25kg, operating mixing or filling machines and semi-automated machinery, and working to daily production targets with a strong H&S focus.

Shifts are 6am-2pm or 2pm-10pm, Monday to Friday, with 38 hours per week. Early rate £14.41 per hour; afternoon rate £14.41 plus a £203 monthly lump sum (equivalent to £15.76 per hour) if the afternoon shift is

• Experience operating mixing or filling machines is desirable.
• Willingness to work with semi-automated machinery and PPE.

Job description

JDR Recruitment are recruiting for Production Operatives to work for a manufacturing company based in Hindley.

Duties Include:

• Heavy lifting up to 25kg
• Operating mixing or filling machines
• Operating semi-automated machinery
• Working to daily production targets
• Candidates must be H&S conscious (happy to wear PPE and keep their work stations tidy at all times)

The shift pattern will involve being flexible to work the below shifts:

6am - 2pm Monday - Thursday & 6am - 12pm on Friday

2pm - 10pm Monday - Thursday & 12pm - 6pm on Friday

38 hours paid per week

The pay rates are:

Early Shift - £14.41 per hour

Afternoon Shift - £14.41 per hour plus £203 paid at the end of the month as a lump sum if you have worked the aternoon shift for the whole month - this will equate to £15.76 per hour

Overtime is payable using the following breakdown:

• Time plus ⅓ of your normal hourly rate (as determined by the Company) for the first two hours of overtime worked Monday to Friday (inclusive) and time plus ½ thereafter
• Time plus ½ of your normal hourly rate (as determined by the Company) for the first six hours and double time thereafter for overtime worked on Saturdays
• Double time of your normal hourly rate (as determined by the Company) for overtime worked on Sundays.
