Job summary

Morson Edge is recruiting Production Operatives for a specialist aerospace manufacturing facility in Banbury. The role focuses on assembling advanced composite fuel pipes and fluid conveyance components to exact aerospace standards, following SOPs, and maintaining traceability.

You will operate hand tools and machinery safely, contribute to lean improvements, and work as part of a team in a quality-driven environment.

Production Operative Banbury Standard

£15.65/hr PAYE (Double Days) - £17.92/hr PAYE (6 Months rolling) 37 per week Inside IR35

We are recruiting Production Operatives to join a specialist aerospace manufacturing facility in Banbury. The site designs and manufactures advanced lightweight composite fuel pipes and fluid conveyance systems supplied to major global aerospace platforms, including Airbus and Boeing. These components are critical to aircraft performance, efficiency and safety. This role sits within a structured, quality-driven production environment where attention to detail, consistency and adherence to process are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Assembling advanced composite fuel pipe and fluid conveyance components to precise aerospace standards
• Following detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions
• Using hand tools, machinery and production equipment safely and effectively
• Completing build documentation to ensure full traceability
• Maintaining high 5S and housekeeping standards
• Carrying out basic TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) checks
• Supporting Lean and continuous improvement activities
• Working collaboratively within a team-focused production environment

Required Skills & Experience

• Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment
• Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately and consistently
• Strong attention to detail and quality focus
• Confidence to highlight quality or safety concerns
• Basic PC literacy
• Good communication skills
• Flexible approach and willingness to learn new skills
• Experience within aerospace, automotive, composites or precision manufacturing would be advantageous but is not essential
